Description
Soft and fluffy banana bread with semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Ingredients

1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt use plain vegan yogurt if making a vegan version
2 tablespoons coconut oil
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and prep the pan.
- Mash 3 ripe bananas in a bowl. Add eggs (or unsweetened applesauce), maple syrup, melted coconut oil, and yogurt. Use a spatula to fold the ingredients together.
- Add vanilla extract, cinnamon, and baking soda.
- Add brown sugar to the bowl and combine well.
- Now add your flour. I used whole wheat flour from Bob’s Red Mill. Gently combine well.
- Finally, add your chocolate chips and fold everything together. Then add the batter to the prepared pan. Bake for 45-50 minutes. Or until it passes the toothpick test.
