Description

Festive Blood Orange and Cranberry Cocktail is perfect for the holidays! Make it as a sparkling mocktail or add vodka, rum, or gin. Easy, crowd-pleasing, and inclusive for all guests.


Ingredients

2 cups cranberry juice cocktail
Juice of 4 blood oranges (about 1 cup)
4 tablespoons sugar
4 cups champagne or non-alcoholic sparkling juice
Juice of 1 lime
Fresh cranberries and rosemary for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine blood orange juice and sugar over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves, then remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes. Strain the mixture to remove any pulp.

  2. Pour cranberry juice into a large pitcher. Add the strained blood orange syrup and stir gently.

  3. Add champagne or sparkling juice and lime juice.

  4. Garnish with fresh cranberries and rosemary. Serve chilled.

Notes

  • Use a juicer to get the most juice from the blood oranges.

  • Roll the oranges on the countertop with your hands before juicing.
