Easy Southern Salmon Croquettes

Description

Crispy on the outside but soft, fluffy, and flavorful on the inside, these salmon croquettes are the best you’ll ever have.


Ingredients

4 tbsp flour
3 tbsp cornmeal
2 5oz cans starkest salmon
1/4 red onions, diced
1 large egg
1/2 tsp Worchestsire sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp paprika
3 tbsp mayo
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp finely chopped cilantro (parsley is a good substitute
2-3 tbsp oil for frying


Instructions

  1. Open and drain the cans of salmon. Add the salmon to a bowl with the other ingredients.
  2. Gently mix all the ingredients well.
  3. Scoop and shape the patties. Set them aside.
  4. Heat the oil in the pan on medium heat. Once the oil is ready, gently place the patties in the oil.
