Ingredients
Scale
1½ pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1½‑inch cubes
2 tablespoons harissa powder
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
½ teaspoon kosher salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
6–8 wooden or metal skewers
Instructions
- Mix harissa powder, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Add chicken and coat evenly. Let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Thread chicken onto skewers.
- Preheat air fryer to 380°F for 3 minutes.
- Air fry kabobs 10–12 minutes, or until completely done. Halfway through, brush the chicken with extra seasoning, and put them back into the airfyer to finish cooking.
- Brush with extra seasoning during the last 2 minutes if desired.
- Let rest 2–3 minutes, then serve.
Notes
- Letting the chicken sit longer in the seasoning deepens the flavor.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer for best texture.
- Fresh lemon juice gives the best flavor.
