Description

Juicy, flavorful air fryer chicken kabobs made with bold harissa seasoning. This easy recipe is perfect for weeknight dinners or family meals.

Ingredients

Scale

pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into ‑inch cubes

2 tablespoons harissa powder

4 garlic cloves, minced

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon kosher salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

68 wooden or metal skewers

Instructions

  1. Mix harissa powder, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Add chicken and coat evenly. Let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Thread chicken onto skewers.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 380°F for 3 minutes.
  5. Air fry kabobs 10–12 minutes, or until completely done. Halfway through, brush the chicken with extra seasoning, and put them back into the airfyer to finish cooking.
  6. Brush with extra seasoning during the last 2 minutes if desired.
  7. Let rest 2–3 minutes, then serve.

Notes

  • Letting the chicken sit longer in the seasoning deepens the flavor.
  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer for best texture.
  • Fresh lemon juice gives the best flavor.
