Description
This honey vanilla iced coffee recipe is smooth, sweet, and incredibly easy to make at home. Fresh-brewed coffee, natural honey, vanilla, and creamy milk come together to create a refreshing iced coffee that tastes like a coffee shop drink in just minutes.
Ingredients
1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
1–2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1–2 tablespoons honey
¼–½ cup milk or cream
1 cup ice
Instructions
-
Brew a cup of coffee and allow it to cool slightly. For the best flavor, brew the coffee a little stronger than usual.
-
In a glass, stir together the cooled coffee, honey, and vanilla extract until the honey is fully dissolved.
-
Fill the glass with ice.
-
Pour in the milk or cream and stir gently to combine. Adjust the amount depending on how creamy you like your iced coffee.
-
Optional: Froth a small amount of milk with a milk frother, then pour the thick, cold foam over the iced coffee for a rich, creamy finish.
-
Taste and adjust sweetness or creaminess as needed, then serve immediately.
Notes
I like to brew my coffee a little stronger so the flavor stays bold even after adding ice and milk.
If you have a milk frother, you can froth cold milk to create a thick foam that makes this iced coffee extra creamy.
You can easily double or triple this recipe if you want to make several glasses at once.
